Kyle de Wet
Kyle’s father taught him to sail on their family catamaran throughout his high school years. He took to the water and started perfecting his skills which funneled his passion for sailing into racing. Soon after, he achieved world junior champion in this sailing class, and travelled to England, Portugal and Scotland to compete. Upon finishing school, Kyle completed a sailing course, acquired a job on a small yacht and sailed from South Africa to the USA where he began his career in the yachting industry. Kyle enjoys cycling and kite surfing. Apart from becoming a captain one day, Kyle plans to take his writing and photographic hobby to a professional level.
